This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use arcandsaw.com, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
The site is run by Pavel Anca Georgiana, Romania (the "data controller"). Contact for anything in this policy: contact@arcandsaw.com.
What we collect, and why
Visiting the site. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of you. Like every web server, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) briefly processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Buying a product. Purchases are handled by the shop platform you check out on (Payhip or Etsy) and its payment processor (Stripe or PayPal). They collect your name, email, billing country and payment details to complete the sale, deliver the files and meet tax rules. We receive your name, email and order details; we never see your card number. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations such as tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Email list. If you sign up for emails, we store your email address to send you the free download and occasional news about new plans and guides. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Writing to us. If you email us, we keep the conversation for as long as needed to answer you.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links (for example to Amazon or to Romanian retailers through 2Performant or Profitshare). If you click one, the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies to record that the sale came from us. That happens on their site and under their privacy policy. Using affiliate links never changes the price you pay.
Who else receives data
Only the providers needed to run the site and shop: Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Payhip and Etsy (shop), Stripe and PayPal (payments), and our email provider. Some are based outside the EU; they transfer data under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as tax law requires (in Romania, generally 10 years). Email list: until you unsubscribe. Emails you send us: as long as needed to deal with your request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to contact@arcandsaw.com. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
